It's been a couple of years since I participated in 5 Minutes for Mom's Ultimate Blog Party. And when I did, it was an entirely different blog: Mom2Ways.
My name is Julie, and I'm currently working on losing half of my body weight. (Thus the title: Half a Julie!). Since January 1st, I have lost more than 30 pounds. (First 10% down!). I've also completed the C25K (Couch to 5K) program and run my first 5K (3.1 miles) on the treadmill. I'm working on moving it outside to prepare for my first 5K race in July.
I am a full time working mom of 3 kids (15, 9, and 7). We built our family through birth and adoption (thus my alter ego: Mom 2 Ways). My husband and I have been married for 26 years.
I blog about my struggles and my success. I don't post pictures of my meals (unless there was something really good!!). I don't post weekly weigh in results. On the first Saturday of every month, I post progress pictures (before and current) as well as weight loss to date. I often post songs that meant something to me that week.
I'd love to have you stop by and visit. I'd offer you a Pepsi, but I don't think them as much as before. But I do have some ice cold water--with lemon!
